AR Rahman nominated for Oscars

MUMBAI: AR Rahman has bagged two nominations for Oscars once again. This time it is again Danny Boyle's film that has brought to him the nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards.

Earlier he had bagged three nominations and won two Oscars in the 81st Academy Awards for Danny Boyle's film Slumdog Millionaire.

Buzz up!The Music Maestro Rahman has been nominated in the Best Original Song for the song ' If I Rise' and the Best Original Score from the film 127 Hours.

We congratulate AR Rahman on his success and hope that he will win the show too.

Atif Aslam Desert Fusion concert has been honoured with the award of Best Asian Concert in the Masala Awards 2010, reported Indian Weekender. 

It is commendable that Atif won the award against such frontline nominees as:

Aadeez is the name given to millions of Atif Aslam fans around the world.

After rocking Doha, Dubai, Lahore, Karachi, Los Angeles, Oakland, New York, Wambley, Kenya, Delhi, Goa, Singapore with over 200 sold-out shows, Atif has become one of the greatest singing sensations, the report said.

He recently updated his official website and Facebook page confirming his arrival in Auckland on January 21. According to the report, Atif and his band will be performing at the ASB showground Logan Campbell Centre, Greenlane, Auckland. daily times monitor
