Former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf has refused to appear before any commission set up regarding the murders of Benazir Bhutto and Akbar Bugti. 
During an interview to Dunya TV programme ‘In Session’, Musharraf maintained, “It was not my responsibility to provide security to Benazir Bhutto; who told her to come out of the roof top of her vehicle”? Musharraf asked. 
He said that the President is not supposed to provide security to anyone. “I feel bad when the security agencies are being accused of having a hand in BB’s murder, they did nothing of sort”, Musharraff asserted. “Only people like Jehangir Badar alleged me of the murder”, the former COAS stated. 
Replying to a question on Akbar Bugti’s murder, he said that “Frontier Constabulary has been established to defend the country but Akbar Bugti was fighting with it on the mountains.

Dr Mussadaq (Key witness of BB murder) shifted to US without govt’s permission

LAHORE: Professor Dr Musaddaq Khan of the Benazir Bhutto Hospital, who examined the dead body of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, has been shifted to the US, a private TV channel reported on Monday.

Punjab Health Secretary Fawad Hassan said Dr Khan left for the US without taking advance permission from the government. He had forwarded a leave application on reaching the country, but it was rejected. The health secretary said that investigations into the case had been completed and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has the file, the channel quoted him as saying. Dr Musaddaq is a key person in the murder probe, as he was the one who had examined the wounds and tried to revive Benazir’s heartbeat.

Mirza says he knows who killed Benazir

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Dr.Zulfiqar Mirza said on Monday that he knew who the killers and mastermind behind Benazir Bhutto’s assassination were.

Speaking to the media in Ghari Khuda Bux, Mirza said that Benazir Bhutto’s son, Bilawal Bhutto had been made aware of these developments and after consultations, all the details of the case will be made public.

Mirza also said that Interior Minister Rehman Malik was responsible for briefing Bilawal about the investigations yesterday, however, he was unable to do that due to certain reasons.
