KARACHI: Tension erupted in various educational institutions of the city on Wednesday after clashes between two students’ organisations in Federal Urdu University (FUU) Abdul Haq campus and Lyari Degree College. Leaders of both the organisations blamed each other for torturing and abducting activists of each other’s party. People’s Students Federation (PSF) president Karachi chapter claimed in a statement that Islami Jamiat Talaba’s (IJT) workers had kidnapped and tortured an activist of PSF. On the other hand, IJT Nazim Hashim Abdali said that workers of PSF have kidnapped a student of International Relations in FUU, who is also an activist of IJT, and tortured him.
