Unknown gunmen shot dead three people, including father of a former town nazim, here in Hangu on Sunday, police said.
Kamal Hussain, father of former town nazim Ameer Faisal, was traveling by his car, when some armed persons riding a bake intercepted his vehicle and opened indiscriminate fire.
As a result, Hussain and his two guards died on the spot.
After the incident, their bodies were shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police claimed to have arrested one attacker and started investigation.
