RAIWIND: Newly appointed Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif agreed to build a better political atmosphere in the province on Tuesday.
Khosa met with Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif at their Raiwind residence on Tuesday.
The governor conveyed to the Sharifs his leadership’s point of view on a better working relationship in Punjab. He said the policy of reconciliation will continue since it is in the interest of the people of Punjab.
Nawaz said he would be glad to work with the new governor for the political uplift of the province.
Khosa was accompanied by Senior Minister Raja Riaz, PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Warraich and Provincial Minister Tanveer Ashraf Kaira.
