KARACHI: MQM Sindh Human Rights Minister Nadia Gabol has called for undertaking steps for the elimination of poverty. She was talking to a delegation of a local non-governmental organisation (NGO) on Friday. The minister was of the view that rich and well to do people should play their due role in this very respect. Gabol said that quite a number of people in the country are living below the poverty line. She opined that the poverty alleviation would also lead towards reduction in crime rates.
