KARACHI/LONDON: Dr Farooq Sattar of Muttahida Qaumi Movment (MQM) has said on Sunday that the telephonic contact between Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Mian Nawaz Sharif is positive.
He said this from London through his telephonic participation in party's press conference at Nine Zero, Karachi.
Sattar said that his party welcomed PM Gilani's positive response to PML-Nawaz's agenda.
He urged that all political parties to cooperate each other as all political issues could be resolved.
Sattar said that MQM rejoined the coalition government after the assurance of PM Gilani.
He demanded complete eradication of poverty, corruption and unemployment. He also suggested opposition to play its due role for the betterment of the people of Pakistan.
